Campus Living

Residential Hospitality Services is going green by featuring  salad greens from the Michigan State University Student Organic Farm, low-flow shower heads, and more!

Efforts are lead by Diane S. Barker, RHS Assistant Director of Sustainability.

Outdoor

Landscape Services at MSU uses beet juice to help dissolve ice in the winter months in addition to using permeable (and rubber) surfaces for parking lots and sidewalks.  For more information about the sustainability initiatives going on the grounds of MSU’s beautiful campus, contact Steve Frank for more information.

Athletics

In addition to game day recycling lead by a team of student recycling educators, athletics recycles their used shoes and keeps MSU green through and through.  For more information about game day recycling, contact Jennifer Sowa of the Office of Campus Sustainability.
